Past Pupils Association of Canada and USA, known as the American Centralites, was officially revived in 2008, to promote good fellowship between past pupils of Methodist Central College, Batticaloa and generally to promote and maintain close relations between members of the Association, teachers past and present and the school.
Methodist Central College, a leading boys school in the district of Batticaloa, Sri Lanka, was founded in 1814 by Rev. William Ault - the first Methodist missionary to set foot in the east.
